I owned two business horse facilities and kept my yearling with me for the first year, but when it came time to ride my then two year old draft cross for the first time, I asked Stacy if I could board Cajun for one or two months due to her ideal facility that includes indoor and outdoor riding arenas, a round pen and large riding areas including pastures and trails. I ended up keeping Cajun there seven years until back surgery forced me to stop riding! The care is ideal and the nutrition the horses get from rich pastures is incalculable.
Willow Acres is the only boarding facility that I would use! My first horse lived there 2000-2003. The entire farm is well maintained with tons of room to ride. The people there are horse knowledgeable and very friendly. I learned so much in my time there and am so happy with my decision to board there. If you are the type of person that can not sleep at night if you don’t feel your horse is safe and well taken care of, this is the place for you!
Stacy is truly wonderful to work with! She is very knowledgeable about all the horses that are boarded at her place. She is a total “hands on” owner. It is wonderful to be associated with someone that understands about all aspects of the business and doesn’t mind doing the hard work that goes along with it.
I have had my horse Gambler at Willow Acres for 17 years. I winter in Fla and am gone for 3 months. During that time I go with confidence that he is being well cared for. The owner Stacy Dietz is hands on every day with every horse she cares for and you can be assured every horse there is happy, healthy and allowed to be a horse. It’s the best facility around. From the generous size stalls which are cleaned every day to the large pastures that the horses have to graze on. I’ve always called it Willow Acres Horsey Spa because that fits. I would not put my horse anywhere else.
My experience at Willow Acres was fantastic! Stacy took such excellent care of my horse, IV. I enjoyed going there to spend time with IV as well as when I went riding the trails with my friend, Bavadawn. I strongly recommend Willow Acres as an awesome, safe, and fun place to board your horse.
